Benjamin advises French and international clients on legal matters relating to music publishing and production, literary publishing, the art market, image rights, the press, audiovisual production, and software.

He advises producers, publishers, agencies, innovative companies, authors, artists, art dealers, and collectors on the legal structuring of their projects, as well as on the protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights, distinctive signs, and other strategic assets.

Combining advisory work with litigation, Benjamin takes a rigorous and pragmatic approach, with a strong focus on his clients’ objectives. He regularly handles complex disputes involving intellectual property and infringement, commercial contracts, unfair competition, and related matters before civil and commercial courts.

Education

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2019, Benjamin co-founded Septem Avocats in 2026 after spending seven years at OX Avocats, a leading intellectual property firm particularly recognized for its expertise in copyright, the art market, and distinctive signs.

He has also gained in-house experience at the intersection of the music, advertising, and luxury industries, as well as experience within the 5th Division of the Paris Court of Appeal, which specializes in intellectual property matters.Benjamin holds a Master 2 degree in Literary, Artistic and Industrial Property Law from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas. He also holds an LL.M. in International Intellectual Property Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
